ESQUELETO is looking for an in-house Custom Project Manager + Jewelry Production. This is a full time position located in downtown Oakland. JOB DESCRIPTION

+ Manage all custom projects start-to-finish. Responsible for production duties including sketching/rendering, design, fabrication, stone setting, finishing, repairs and more. This is a client facing role.

+ Facilitate 3D design models ensuring accurate translation of design concepts.

+ Coordinate with custom clientele to initiate projects with rendering and estimate creation. This includes in-person and virtual appointments. 

+ Facilitate stone sourcing as well as all necessary materials based on project requirements.

+ Oversee design check with clientele to verify alignment with expectations. 

+ Assign casting jobs and other production tasks as required.

+ Coordinate with outside vendors to complete jobs as necessary.

+ Collaborate with in-house jewelers on fabrication, production, refinishing, setting and specialized tasks as necessary.

+ Conduct comprehensive quality control and final checks on all custom pieces.

+ Serve as the central point of communication for custom projects between custom clients, our retail sales teams, and vendors.

The ideal candidate will have ~5 years of relevant experience working on the jeweler's bench with several years of production/custom management experience. Excellent communication skills and a high attention to detail are a must. This position marries bench skills, customer service and technical execution and the ideal candidate will be accomplished in these areas. 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

+ Proficiency in jewelry production skills, to include: sketching/design, setting, casting, cleaning, basic to advanced repair work, piece finishing, and more

+ Proficiency in laser welding, laser repair, and resizing a plus

+ Proficiency in pricing and sourcing raw materials

+ Highly organized and proficient with computer work (Google Suite, Shopify and more)

+ Excellent time management skills

+ Self motivated, hard working, and able to work with a small, busy team

PAY SCALE: $95,000 - $125,000
