Estimator

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Sr. Estimator. As Senior Estimator, you will lead the preparation of budgets, estimates, and pre-bid packages for construction management projects, GMP projects as well as select bid pursuits. This role partners closely with internal trade divisions, project management teams, and subcontractors to develop schematic, design development, and construction document estimates.

You will review drawings and specifications, perform quantity surveys, solicit and evaluate subcontractor bids, and prepare detailed cost breakdowns for both large-scale and smaller projects. Experience with design/build projects and preconstruction conceptual estimating is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the estimate process from rollout to completion
• Leading bid strategy and providing guidance on means, methods, and schedules
• Developing accurate unit costs and staffing/general conditions estimates
• Conducting site visits, pre-bid meetings, and post-bid interviews
• Maintaining cost history and subcontractor databases

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
• 7+ years of commercial preconstruction/estimating or operations experience
• Strong knowledge of building systems and trade scopes
• Skilled in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, OnScreen Takeoff, Sage (Timberline), Building Connected Pro
