High Street Hospitality Group is seeking an individual who is a leader who can contribute their culinary experience and tastes within the restaurant's concept, while continuing to practice their leadership style, organization and problem solving skills. High Street Hospitality Group's Mission - To create an exceptional dining experience and deliver best in class food, beverage and service while using 'sustainability' and 'community' as our guiding values. This role will be directly responsible for day to day operations as well as quality control and quality assurance. This experience is designed to prepare the individual for the next big step in their career. A high level of commitment and integrity is a must have. 

Culinary Qualifications 

  • Must demonstrate a refined level and wide range of cooking technique and practices
  • Extensive knowledge of food ingredients and grasp of current industry trends
  • Standardized recipe development & documentation procedures
  • Experience with standard kitchen related operational systems, i.e.: ordering and receiving procedures, line check procedures, production schedules, etc.
  • Creativity with a firm understanding of classic and regional cuisines
  • Banquet and catering experience
  • Experience and general understanding with various cooking equipment, trouble shooting skills and routine maintenance knowledge
  • An understanding of facility maintenance and best practices 
  • A solid understanding of food safety, health code compliance laws as well have a current Serv Safe Certification

Administrative  Qualifications 

  • Must be computer literate and able to efficiently navigate through software programs such as Microsoft Products, POS systems and other cloud based applications 
  • Possess Financial literacy and basic accounting practices
  • Must be able to generate and read reports; infer causes and reasons, create actionable corrective solutions if needed
  • Accepts financial responsibilities that are within the job scope, i.e. cost of food and supplies, cost of labor 
  • Must maintain required log records such refrigeration temperature logs, receiving temperature logs, HACCAP Logs, etc. 
  • Must be familiar with HR best practices: documentation procedures, coaching tactics, conflict resolution, upholding employee handbook policies 
  • This position will assist with employee recruitment, onboarding and training 
  • This position is responsible for maintaining a SAFE and HEALTHY work environment
