This role offers competitive pay, a supportive environment, and the opportunity to work with cutting-edge imaging technology while enjoying the charm of a welcoming Southern community.Position Overview Contract Length: 13 Weeks Weekly Compensation: Up to $2,700 based on experienceJob Description Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and department protocols Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals while adhering to radiation safety standards Operate gamma cameras, PET/CT scanners, and related imaging equipment Evaluate images for technical quality and assist radiologists with interpretation Maintain accurate patient records, including dose documentation and procedural notes Educate patients on procedures and ensure comfort and safety throughout the imaging process Maintain equipment cleanliness, calibration, and operational readinessEducation & Certification Requirements ARRT-N or NMTCB Certification (required) Current BLS Certification (required) Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist preferredSkills & Competencies Strong knowledge of radiopharmaceutical preparation and handling Proficiency in nuclear medicine imaging techniques and equipment operation Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare teamWhy Work in Monroe, NC?
