Gelfand, Rennert & Feldman is seeking a full charge Bookkeeper with ideally entertainment/touring experience to join our team of dedicated professionals. This position can be based out of Encino, CA on a hybrid basis. The Bookkeeper is responsible for computing, classifying, and recording financial transactions to ensure the financial records of assigned clients are accurate.

Primary Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Perform credit card and bank reconciliations
• Maintain electronic filing system
• Communicate with vendors, clients, and client representatives via phone, email, and in person
• Perform cash flow reports and monitor cash balances
• Assist in assembling information for year-end tax packages for accountants
• Provide assistance on insurance questions
• Identify, trace, and correct errors
• Prepare/review 1099 reports
• Prepare journal entries
• Assist in payroll processing and reporting
• Print financial reports for review
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 1+ years of bookkeeping experience in an entertainment business management firm or 2+ years of general accounting experience
• High School Diploma or GED; Associate's degree preferred
• Excellent communication skills (in person, phone, email)
• Sense of urgency and keen eye for details
• Ability to adapt quickly and multitask effectively
• Strong interpersonal skills and key soft skills (communication, time management, emotional intelligence, adaptability, active listening, critical thinking)
• Experience with AgilLink software is highly preferred

This is a non-exempt, overtime-eligible position with an annual base pay range of $51,000 - $59,000 . Compensation may vary based on experience and other factors. Benefits may include bonuses and comprehensive benefits. Falsification of application information may result in employment denial.
