We are seeking an Excess Casualty Claims Manager to be based in our Atlanta, Philadelphia, Houston, Chicago, New York, or Scottsdale office.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage excess casualty claims and litigation across the U.S., involving Starr insureds. Responsibilities include coverage analysis, liability assessment, damages investigation, and reserve evaluation.
- Attend virtual and in-person mediations and settlement conferences to negotiate settlements; attend trials as needed.
- Collaborate with profit center leaders, underwriters, actuaries, and reinsurers on claims trends and developments.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree required
- J.D. preferred but not mandatory
- 5-10 years of experience in excess casualty and excess construction claims preferred
- Excellent negotiation and litigation management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to travel, depending on business needs and caseload
