Senior Accountant, Full-Time - Hybrid Lakewood/Grand Rapids

Vivo Infusion is seeking an Senior Accountant based in our Lakewood, CO or Grand Rapids, MI office. This is a hybrid role. The Senior Accountant supports the finance team by performing a wide range of accounting duties to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. This role ensures that company accounting procedures comply with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and internal controls. Responsibilities include accounts payable, fixed assets, general ledger journal entries, accruals, financial analysis, banking transfers, and preparation of financial reports to support the month-end close process.

Compensation:
Pay Range: $80,000.00 - $91,000.00 / Yr.
Bonus Plan Target: 5% Annually (Based on performance)

Location:
This is a hybrid position in which the individual in this role will report to their local corporate office, a minimum of 3 days each week.

Primary responsibilities:

Assist with the monthly close process by preparing accruals, journal entries, account reconciliations, and posting depreciation and amortization.

Maintain fixed and intangible asset records in Sage Intacct, including tracking additions and disposals.

Review and approve capital expenditure (CapEx) invoice coding in the accounts payable system.

Perform detailed reviews and reconciliations of construction-in-progress balances by clinic to ensure accuracy and appropriateness.

Reconcile selected balance sheet accounts, investigating and resolving discrepancies as needed.

Support the Director of Accounting in managing external audits, including preparing schedules and responding to audit inquiries.

Analyze financial and accounting processes to identify improvement opportunities; assist in implementing enhancements and updating formal policies, procedures, and control matrices.

Prepare and file indirect tax returns (monthly, quarterly, annually).

Manage Certificates of Insurance requests and delivery for internal and external stakeholders.

Organize and assist with the annual insurance renewal process.

Collaborate with the Research Department to calculate and post clinical study revenue.

Support the Research Department in tracking clinical study payments to patients and cash receipts from program participation.

Prepare and post journal entries accurately and timely.

Process accounts payable invoices as needed, including coding, approval routing, and payments.

Perform ad hoc financial analyses, account reviews, and support due diligence projects as require

Secondary responsibilities:

Assist with maintaining general ledger accounts and implementing accounting software enhancements.

Demonstrate an attitude of continuous improvement in all tasks.

Attend relevant meetings, including those related to infusion activities.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or related field

Minimum 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in healthcare or multi-entity environments

Strong knowledge of GAAP

Proficiency in accounting software (Sage Intacct preferred) and Microsoft Excel

Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
