Bookkeeper Position

We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our client's team in Lebanon, Pennsylvania. This is a long-term contract position ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and a passion for accurate financial record-keeping. The role requires proficiency in QuickBooks and a thorough understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.

Schedule: In-office, Monday-Friday (7:30 to 4:00)

Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate financial records, ensuring all transactions are properly documented and categorized.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks, including invoicing and payment tracking.
  • Conduct regular bank reconciliations to verify balances and identify discrepancies.
  • Generate financial reports to support decision-making and provide insights into business performance.
  • Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Manage payroll processes, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve financial discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Assist with audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in bookkeeping or a related financial role.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting tools.
  • Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to generate accurate financial reports and analyze data.
  • Familiarity with payroll processes and regulations.
  • Strong communication skills for collaborating with various departments.
  • Knowledge of accounting standards and compliance requirements.
