Responsibilities

The Pulmonary Function Technician oversees the clinical aspects of the Pulmonary Function Lab. The Pulmonary Lab offers the full array of pulmonary function tests by means of both direct testing and body box usage.

This position is: Dayshift; PRN

Requirements
  • Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
  • Respiratory Therapy from an AMA approved school of Respiratory Care. Experience can serve in place of degree.
  • Not less than 2 years in Respiratory Care. Certified Practitioners may be trained to deliver test.
  • CPR certified or must obtain within 3 months of hire.
  • Must possess skills in both Respiratory Care and delivery of Pulmonary lab tests.
  • Must be able to perform PFTs.
