HR Recruiter / Generalist

Primary Functions
Under the direction of the Sr Human Resources Manager, manages all stages of recruiting, assists in daily HR functions in accordance with company policies and procedures, completes all necessary paperwork associated therewith to a high level of confidentiality, accuracy and to appropriate measured guidelines.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Full-cycle recruiting for hourly positions in manufacturing and other areas as needed
• Perform orientations and onboarding with a positive attitude toward company goals
• Maintain employee personnel files
• Maintain OSHA training records, coordinate monthly OSHA training sessions, and verify all employees receive required training
• Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements
• Assist in preparation of weekly payroll processing
• Create benefit packages, assist with new employee enrollment and annual open enrollment
• Process and maintain employee attendance records and time off requests
• Data entry of information into Excel spreadsheets, Paylocity, Plex and other software systems, with a high level of accuracy
• Filing, answering HR related phone calls and other clerical duties as assigned
• Maintain a positive presence with employees, remaining visible and available to employees
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Two (2) plus years HR recruiting experience in a manufacturing environment, non-union preferred
• Working knowledge of wage and hour laws and labor laws
• Ability to work at all levels within the organization, from the production floor to senior management
• Ability to manage confidential information
• HRIS experience beneficial, Paylocity preferred
• Payroll processing experience beneficial, but will train
• Strong MS Office Suite skills including Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Salary Description
$50,000 - $65,000, depending on experience
