What Youll Do Operate

CNC and manual machine tools

(EDM, mills, grinders, lathes) to manufacture prototype hardware. Create

G&M code , process plans, and custom fixtures based on models and 2D drawings. Partner with mechanical engineers to optimize manufacturability during early design phases. Support

fabrication, installation, maintenance, and testing

of advanced mechanical systems. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives with input to engineering teams. Ensure a

safe, organized, and clean work environment . Perform basic machine maintenance and other duties as needed.

What Youll Bring Certificate, degree, or apprenticeship

in manufacturing or a related field. 2+ years of experience

operating CNC machine tools (including wire EDM, mills, lathes, CMM). Ability to

write G&M code

and interpret technical drawings to plan manufacturing and inspection. Understanding of

GD&T principles , inspection methods, and manufacturing processes. Skilled in

basic hand inspection tools

and measurement techniques. Proficiency in

Microsoft Office

and modern digital tools. U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a

DOE/NRC Q-Clearance

(or active clearance preferred).

U.S. Citizenship

and eligibility for a

DOE/NRC Q-Clearance

are required for this role. Continued employment is contingent on maintaining clearance.
