EDDY SENIORCARE - located at 385 Watervliet Shaker Road in Latham, Eddy SeniorCare has a rewarding opportunity for a full-time driver to bring our seniors to our center and to other medical appointments and return home. Works as a part of our Transportation Team and coordinates with other Eddy SeniorCare team members to help seniors remain living at home and delay or avoid nursing home placement. Most appointments are in the Albany/Troy area. Eddy Senior Care driver is responsible for transporting participants of the PACE program who are 55 years of age or older, to and from the day center, field trips and medical appointments, ensuring the safety of the program participants while in the vehicles. Ensures that all participants wear safety belts and that wheelchairs are locked into position. Maintains accurate daily records of number of trips, individuals transported, number of miles and number of gallons of gas. Maintains vehicle in neat and clean condition. Educational Requirements: High School Graduate or Equivalent or equivalent experience Experience Requirements: Possession of a valid New York State driver's license. Two years' experience driving a truck. Pay Range: $17.60 - $23.55 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
