Four Seasons Hotel Denver is seeking an experienced Bartender to help lead EDGE Restaurant, a thriving spot for locals, guests, and our residents. The ideal candidate is passionate and creative, and able to work with a highly dedicated team. EDGE is a progressive American steakhouse with global influences and EDGE bar is dynamic and is the place to see and-be-seen. We work with superior quality meats, locally sourced Colorado game, and the very freshest of seafood. Experience and passion is a must to join our knowledgeable team, who are masters of their trade. Responsibilities: Prepare and serve a selection of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks from the menu while ensuring proper pouring, mixing, and blending according to established recipes and established Four Seasons Standards. Confirm guest orders including any special needs or requests from the food server using the hotel's point-of-sales system; check completed orders with the guest's original order; anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests. Provide knowledge of wines, spirits and mixed drinks including origin, taste, and preparation methods; maintain a working knowledge of liquors, wines, beets, ports, armagnacs, eau de vies, cognacs and specialty drinks. Maintain an accurate inventory count, process log entries for voids and spillage, cut and prepare fruits and other beverage garnishments.
