Dr. Arun Kumar, Division Director of Cardiovascular Medicine, invites you to join his growing team. The clinical expertise of the division's 20+ faculty members offer the most comprehensive heart and vascular services in mid-Missouri. In addition to clinical responsibilities, as an academic institution, we also have active fellowships in cardiovascular disease, electrophysiology and interventional cardiology. We are currently recruiting for a heart failure specialist to manage congestive heart failure and complex advanced heart failure conditions. Cardiologists with expertise in heart failure will be considered. Position Highlights:
* Collegial faculty of 20+ physicians * Fully accredited Cardiovascular Fellowships with 20+ fellows * Robust consult service * 17 bed Cardiac Intensive Care Unit * Significant time for academic/educational pursuits * Non burdensome call responsibilities * In-house Cardiology fellows assist with night call coverage * Competitive academic base salary with great university benefits including 8% retirement match and tuition benefits * Potential for both productivity and quality bonuses
