Come be part of our best-in-class team at Deerfield Episcopal Retirement Community. Our custodians/utility workers are an important part of resident life, working to create a comfortable, safe and healthy environment for residents across our continuing care retirement community.
Our custodians have access to great equipment, a positive working environment, a variety of schedule options, free uniforms, and so much more. This full-time position works from 7:00am to 3:30pm in our beautiful campus, with occasional weekend shifts. In this job, you will:
Use our computerized work order program to prioritize and manage your workday Support event setups, moving furniture and carpet cleaning Handling of refuse and recycling Demonstrate proper infection control practices and proper, safe use of chemicals
Prior experience with floor care and custodial work is preferred. We are seeking reliable, friendly people who are focused on quality and are able to work independently. Training is provided and our team is exceptional. Floor care experience preferred but not required.
