Description
Job Summary/Objective:
This role is responsible for various tasks within the supply chain process, including inventory management, procurement, order fulfillment, coordinating logistics, and coordinating with contract manufacturers and suppliers. This role is critical in ensuring successful manufacturing readiness and execution.
Essential Job Functions:
Supply Chain:
Coordinate all materials / components planning activities including inventory and supply planning. Assist with execution of supply plans to meet demand requirements. Identifying potential risks in the supply chain and developing mitigation strategies. Assist with facilitation of day-to-day relationships with CMOs as well as partners with CMOs to ensure successful manufacture of products / materials required for process validation and commercial supply. Collaborate with suppliers to improve delivery performance and cost-effective material supply. Effectively communicate/collaborate with different departments including (Regulatory, Quality, Finance, Legal, etc.) Assist in project management activities including tracking, planning, monitoring, and updating several projects. Help with managing financial processes, including purchase orders (POs) and invoicing. Forecasting/Analytics:
Analyze inventory (by lot & expiry, etc.) and perform inventory reconciliation. Quickly identify bottlenecks/issues and proactively alert management. Monitoring costs and budgets, and implementing cost-saving strategies while maintaining quality standards. Product Production and Distribution:
Maintain inventory documentation of all SKUs / raw materials / components on an ongoing basis. Coordinate logistics of shipments with CMOs, Suppliers and Freight Forwarders. Coordinate logistics of shipments with Freight Forwarders to our overseas partners. As needed, coordinate with customs broker for customs & FDA clearance of in transit shipments and timely delivery to various manufacturing sites. Maintain appropriate regulatory and legal documentation for the import of all raw materials including DEA requirements. Maintain documentation for the export of products internationally, including DEA requirements. Identifying areas for process optimization and implementing best practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Assist with audit I qualification of CMOs / suppliers as needed. As required, identify, assess and support the qualifications of new or alternate suppliers. Competency (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
Self-starter, ability to work effectively under pressure managing multiple priorities. Process-oriented, strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Project scheduling experience. Ability to communicate effectively to all levels within the organization, both in-country and outside the country. Ability to challenge colleagues regardless of seniority and escalate appropriately. Strong analytical skills. Strong MS-Excel skills. International Shipping experience including obtaining import/export permits. Experience working with controlled substances. Project Management experience. cGMP experience. Knowledge of cold chain shipments (including controlled room temperature). Personal Performance Factors:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Spends approximately 90% of work time sitting and meeting with others or working at a desk and/or computer. Spends approximately 10% of work time standing or walking within the work area or at meetings and bends, twists, stoops and reaches. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing. Occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 10 pounds. Working conditions are normal for an office environment. The noise level is usually moderate.

Minimum Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, supply chain management, business administration or related discipline. Minimum 8 years relevant experience in pharmaceutical supply chain. Preferred Education and Experience:
Knowledge of Microsoft software applications (Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint). Proficiency in supply chain software, ERP/MRP systems.
