This role is responsible for delivering actionable insights and decision-support tools across commodities and corporate functions. The ideal candidate will bring strong business acumen, curiosity, and storytelling skills—leveraging Power BI as a tool to drive strategic outcomes, not just technical outputs. Adept at transforming complex data sets into actionable insights using Power BI, DAX, and SQL. Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic decision-making and drive business performance. Key Responsibilities · Business Engagement & Insight Generation · Partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities for data-driven decision-making. · Translate business questions into analytical frameworks and visual narratives. · Proactively propose new dashboards or insights that could increase visibility and provide value to stakeholders · Collaborate with Data Strategy & Governance · Collaborate with IT to ensure data integrity, security, and accessibility. · Review and improve data collection processes to enhance reliability and efficiency. · Design and maintain efficient, lightweight dashboards and reports. · Implement row-level security, dataflows, and scheduled refreshes. · Integrate Power BI with iRely CTRM and other enterprise systems. · Support ad hoc analytics requests from senior leadership. · Troubleshoot and optimize existing solutions. · Contribute to the development of a group-wide Power BI strategy. · Build and maintain clear, well-structured data models and pipelines that keep reports accurate and up to date. · Set up and oversee Power BI governance - app audience management, RLS, deployment routines, refresh strategies. · Create complex DAX measures to support advanced analytics and KPIs. · Integrated data from multiple sources including SQL Server, Excel, and cloud platforms. Candidate Profile • Bachelor of Science in Information Systems / Data Analytics / Business Intelligence · Strong business orientation with proven ability to derive insights from complex data. • 5+ years in analytics roles with demonstrable Power BI expertise. • Experience in commodities is a plus. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. • Self-motivated, curious, and capable of working independently across time zones.
