The ETL/ELT Developer will be responsible for developing integrations using industry-standard tools for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) to/from core enterprise systems. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines that transfer data to/from various sources and cloud-based data warehouses or lakes, ensuring efficient and reliable data processing for analytics and downstream systems. Responsibilities Develop and optimize data transformations using cloud tools to cleanse, enrich, and reshape data according to business needs. Load transformed data into cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Azure Synapse, BigQuery) or data lakes. Ensure efficient data pipeline performance in on-premises and cloud environments by leveraging cloud-native services and optimizing resources. Utilize cloud-specific tools (e.g., FiveTran, Snowpipe, Azure Data Factory) for ETL processes. Automate ETL workflows with orchestration tools or cloud workflow services. Design and implement ETL pipelines extracting data from diverse sources (databases, APIs, files). Collaborate with data analysts, developers, and stakeholders to meet data requirements. Create/update documentation like procedures, workflows, and user guides. Participate in change management processes. Requirements BS in Information Systems, IT, or related field; work experience in lieu accepted. 5-7+ years of similar ETL Developer experience in comparable environments. Intermediate knowledge of Snowflake. Proficiency in Python and/or R is a plus. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
