This position will be more for building pallets and crates. No office work is needed. There is room for growth.

The Warehouse Associate will manage the warehouse operations and staff as well as participate in a variety of general warehouse activities including but not limited to Shipping, Receiving, Order Filling, Merchandise Handling, Packing and Processing, Fulfillment and Warehousing.

Manage warehouse associates, monitoring work and ensuring the safe use of warehouse equipment Establish warehouse practices and protocols to achieve an efficient warehouse Set warehouse and team goals in collaboration with executive management and other team leads Monitor workplace performance and lead training initiatives to improve employees Loading and unloading materials, parts, or products onto or from pallets, skids, or trucks Assisting with inventory cycle-counting Negotiate tariffs/rates with shipper and LTL freight companies Determines best price and method of shipment to meet customer deadlines Prepares packing lists and shippers Receives shipments - Inspects and verifies incoming shipments against purchase orders Processes shipping damage claims. Contacts transport companies and suppliers in order to expedite, trace or return merchandise that does not conform to specifications or purchase orders. Handles customer pick-ups. May operate forklift, hand truck or other equipment to load, unload, transport and store goods Maintains internal record-keeping systems Builds, assembles containers and crates, packs goods to be shipped and prepares identifying information and shipping instructions Picks up materials as needed Knows safe storage and handling procedures for various chemicals and materials Takes inventory, maintains storage area, organizes and places stock on shelves or shop floor. Ensures area is secure at all times. Keep a safe & clean work environment: keeping shelves, pallet areas, floors, and workstations neat; sweep, dust and wipe down when and where necessary. Maintaining or advising when equipment needs special attention. Ensures safety procedures are being followed Conducts Quality Control before products are shipped
