Position summary: This position will be responsible for performing routine cleaning and maintenance duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing restrooms, offices, and classrooms. Maintains cleanliness of facilities by handling waste removal, restocking supplies, and operating cleaning equipment. Works independently to ensure a clean, safe, and orderly environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Dust mop, wet mop and use upright vacuum cleaner Handle house cleaner carts Empty wastebaskets, replace trash bags, and dump trash Dust wipe desktops, tables, shelves, etc. Some shelves may be over the head in height Replace tissue paper, paper towels, and soap Clean floors by sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping as required Clean restroom facilities, offices, and classrooms, including desktops and chalkboards Assist with paper recycle pick up Perform other duties as assigned. Preferred skills:
Six months of experience in general cleaning of office buildings, schools, healthcare, hotels, laboratories, auditoriums, or other similar areas Experience working on a college campus. Skills
