Merchandise Lead , you'll shape the strategy, storytelling, and execution behind client Racing's branded merchandise-blending fashion, motorsports heritage, and fan engagement into a high-performance retail experience.
Strategic Merchandise Planning
Develop and execute merchandise strategies aligned with client Racing's brand identity and business goals Analyze fashion and design trends to recommend collaborations that expand audience reach Plan seasonal assortments, pricing strategies, and inventory levels to drive revenue and fan engagement Source and evaluate global merchandise partners; present options and negotiate financial agreements with vendors and client procurement Brand Integration & Storytelling
Collaborate with engineers and engine designers to ensure merchandise reflects clients Racing's legacy and current achievements Use merchandise as a storytelling platform to deepen brand loyalty among fans, collectors, and motorsport enthusiasts Align merchandise with marketing efforts, ensuring consistency in brand voice, tone, and guidelines across internal and external campaigns Revenue & Performance Management
Partner with the General Manager to define annual inventory, cost, and sales plans Oversee gross margin targets, budget planning, and performance metrics to ensure profitability Analyze sales trends and customer feedback to optimize product offerings and address slow-moving inventory Present monthly sales performance reports to executive leadership and monitor ongoing sales optimization Team Leadership
Lead the merchandise team in design execution, planning, and production Provide creative direction to apparel designers to fulfill brand strategy through merchandise Mentor merchandise planners to improve production efficiency, sourcing, and cost management Foster a collaborative, high-performance team culture Job Requirements

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in
Business Administration
or related field 5-7 years of experience in
apparel merchandising , ideally within motorsports or a lifestyle brand Proven success in product assortment planning, line management, and revenue growth across multiple channels Strong blend of financial acumen, creative merchandising, trend forecasting, and brand storytelling Experience collaborating across design, manufacturing, and marketing functions Deep understanding of client
Racing , motorsports culture, and race events Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills Skilled in sales data analysis, inventory management, and pricing strategy Creative thinker with strong organizational and project management skills Proficient in Microsoft Office and email communication tools Professional demeanor with a challenger mindset and problem-solving ability
