Palletizer 1st Shift

The primary function of the Palletizer position is to stack sealed boxes onto empty pallets as required by specifications, verify dates, weight, and quantity and shrink-wrap as required by specifications. Relocate loaded and wrapped pallets to staging area. Job responsibilities include: Obtain work schedule from Supervisor, obtain supplies required to perform the work and prepare for operations Obtain empty pallets and empty boxes and move to line with hand jack Identify and communicate problems with product packaging and ensure highest quality bags and cases Verify product code and bag counts if applicable Place full boxes onto a pallet according to proper specifications, shrink wrap and move to storage area for processing Ensure proper documentation and pallet tags are completed Maintain area cleanliness to ensure compliance with GMP and safety standards Requirements include: Ability to use or learn to use the equipment and tools used to perform the job Ability to perform all job functions safely Participation in company orientation and training Ability to follow instructions and work scheduled/assigned times and required overtime for the position Working in a very cold and wet environment (33 - 35 degrees Fahrenheit) Standing and walking all day on hard surface and on wet floor Pushing, pulling, and lifting to 30 lbs.
