A highly respected general contractor based in downtown Chicago is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead high-end corporate interior construction projects. This is a strategic leadership role ideal for someone with a strong background in managing fast-paced, detail-oriented interior buildouts for corporate clients. Job Description: Lead project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution for corporate interior projects. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, and consultants. Manage subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure project milestones are met. Oversee procurement, contract administration, and change order processes. Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and company policies. Monitor project progress and proactively resolve issues to maintain timelines and budgets. Mentor junior project managers and project engineers. Proven success managing multiple interior buildouts in occupied and unoccupied spaces. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field. Strong understanding of interior construction methods, materials, and finishes. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project). Excellent leadership, communication, and client management skills. Ability to manage high-profile clients and deliver projects with precision and professionalism.
