Accounts Receivable Specialist
We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in the government, aerospace, and defense industry. The ideal candidate will manage customer portals, apply payments, make collection calls, review credit terms, and grant credit to customers as needed. You will collaborate with buyers and sales teams to ensure proper billing terms and resolve outstanding balances. You will handle accounts for prominent companies such as Boeing, Northrup Grummond, and Honeywell. Responsibilities: Manage and apply payments through customer portals. Make collection calls to retrieve outstanding balances. Review and grant credit terms with customers as needed. Collaborate with sales teams to resolve outstanding balances. Review contracts to ensure accurate billing terms. Essential Skills: 4+ years of full-cycle Accounts Receivable processing. Experience in credit, collections, billing, and cash applications. Ability to resolve discrepancies. Proficiency in using pivot tables. Strong analytical skills. Bachelor's degree in a related field. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Experience with Epicor and/or Expandable ERP systems. Familiarity with government contracts, aerospace, and defense industry. Knowledge of larger ERP systems such as SAP. Work Environment: This role is on-site every day with a future possibility of one day working from home. Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Our workplace is equipped with a gym, pickleball courts, and a bistro for lunch. We are a growing company, having made five acquisitions since 2021. Pay and benefits include the pay range of $65,000.00 - $75,000.00/yr. Full medical, dental, and vision. Workplace Type: This is a fully onsite position in Melville, NY.
