Spanish-Speaking Rotational Nanny Needed
A lovely young couple near Union Square, NYC are seeking a Spanish-speaking rotational nanny for their two children, aged 3 and a newborn due in January. The schedule for this role will be week on/off, but this is a live-out position and the scheduled hours will generally be 7:30am-6pm. This is a live-out position so candidates must be local enough to commute daily, and the "on duty" nanny should be available for two overnights per shift. The provided accommodation during overnights is a private bedroom and bathroom. The family travels during the summer, so the nanny should be willing to do longer shifts during that time to accommodate. Responsibilities
All childcare, including managing sleep, meal, and hygiene routines Infant care (the infant will have an NCS for the first 3-4 months) Planning outings and activities, and providing an engaging and stimulating environment. Making basic child-friendly food if needed (the family has a chef who prepares most meals) Keeping children's belongings organized and child-related spaces tidy throughout the day Planning and packing for travel Qualifications
Team player, as this is a fully staffed home and the parents are both in and out throughout the day Comfortable with full-charge as parents do not want to micromanage Warm and maternal Engaging and willing to get down on the floor and play Highly organized, capable, and meticulous and able to keep up with a fast-paced home Willing to be outside in all weather as the older child loves being outdoors Ability to take direction, but also anticipate and take initiative as needed Requirements
Spanish speaking Experience with infants and toddlers The family has a small dog, so candidates must be comfortable working around pets US work authorization required Very limited phone useage during working hours unless communicating with the parents or in an emergency Candidates for this role must be COVID vaccinated and must be willing to stay up to date on other recommended vaccinations The family occasionally travels to a second home over the weekend, and the nanny should be willing to accompany them during their shift Willing to adjust ROTA schedule to accommodate travel Willing to work either Christmas or Thanksgiving, alternating with other nanny Salary and Benefits
$35+/hr., which amounts to $100k+ annually Full health insurance including dental Metro card Two weeks PTO
