Service Coordinator
The Service Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the operational and administrative functions of our overhead crane service branch. This position is responsible for managing service requests, coordinating field technicians, and ensuring timely and accurate order processing. The Service Coordinator serves as a key point of contact for customers and internal teams, helping to maintain high service standards and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities:
Efficiently schedule and dispatch service technicians based on customer needs, technician availability, and job priority. Serve as the primary liaison for customer inquiries, ensuring prompt and professional communication and resolution of service issues. Process service orders, generate purchase orders, and coordinate procurement of necessary parts and materials. Assist with HR-related tasks, safety compliance documentation, and fleet management support. Review technician service reports for accuracy and completeness. Enter service data into internal systems with attention to detail. Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience in dispatching, service coordination, and procurement. Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills. Preferred Experience:
Prior experience in industrial service or equipment maintenance environments. Familiarity with fleet and safety compliance procedures. Experience supporting HR and administrative functions. Top Skills:
