The Hardware & Ultrasonic Dissection Device Product Manager, US Marketing is responsible for the sales growth and revenue objectives for the assigned area of responsibility, establishing and maintaining relationships with internal and external customers, as well as identifying and executing product marketing initiatives to drive future growth for the Medtronic Hardware & Ultrasonic Dissection Device portfolios within Advanced Surgical Technologies Product Marketing - part of the Surgical Portfolio. This position is remote to enhance our competitive edge and expand our cross-functional collaboration efforts. This role will require 30-40% travel to enhance collaboration and ensure successful completion of projects. Responsibilities include: Develops promotional strategies, sales support materials, educational aids, new channels, etc. to grow market share to ensure sales excellence. Identifies, rationalizes, and executes on business opportunities through new and improved products and product applications, educational programs and customer services by focusing on key opinion leaders, customers, the sales force, and our distributor channels. Works with various internal and external functions to market assigned products within the area of responsibility by providing marketing support. This includes, but is not limited to, identifying and developing strategic direction, assessing the market, forecasting, communicating product and competitive updates and inventory status, participating and planning conferences, launching new products/programs, creating collateral and navigating approval processes, and optimizing the channel. Evaluates opportunities related to current and future needs by gathering customer feedback, monitoring procedural trends, evaluating competitive landscapes, reviewing complaints, monitoring prevalent complications and evaluating reimbursement in key procedural areas. Supports product launch activities across the Hardware and Ultrasonic product lines, as needed. This includes, but is not limited to, content creation, sales education programs, commercialization planning and execution, field communication and sales initiatives, presenting, and forecasting. Develops and maintains ongoing relationships with internal and external customers. Includes interaction with the US salesforce and distributor teams, customer service, global marketing, marketing operations and communications, logistics, clinical affairs, legal, offer development and pricing, R&D, regulatory, quality, logistics, and various customers, such as surgeons, nurses, and hospital administration. Travel approximately 30-40% (primarily domestic) Principal working relationships include: US Salesforce Distributors Legal Clinical Affairs Offer Development and Pricing Customer Service Global Marketing Marketing Operations Supply Chain and Logistics Quality Assurance, Medical and Regulatory Affairs Marketing Communications Marketing Support Teams Must have: minimum requirements include: Bachelor's degree required Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience marketing, market development or sales, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years. Nice to have includes: Degree in Marketing, Business, R&D MBA Medical Device experience Highly effective written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated prioritization and organizational skills. Proficiency with a variety of personal computer software applications, including Microsoft Office, Veeva, and Workfront. Strong understanding of medical marketing and the general hospital buying processes. Experience in product and/or procedural marketing within medical device industry highly preferred. Proven skill in creating, writing, and analyzing business/marketing plans, objectives, and strategies. Demonstrated ability to prepare and deliver product presentations and train employees and customers in applications and use of products. Strong analytical skills to review and complete sales reports, analyze financial metrics, project sales forecasts, and quantify market segmentation models. Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with key customers and stakeholders. Proven ability to work effectively as a team member and demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams including Quality, Regulatory, R&D, Legal, etc. Medtronic offers a competitive salary and flexible benefits package. PR) locations (USD): $103,200.00 - $154,800.00 This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP). The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
