Our work depends on a Cybersecurity Business Customer Relationship Liaison joining our team to analyze design, develop, implement, and support code for our government customer, the United States Postal Service. How a Cybersecurity Business Customer Relationship Liaison will make an impact: Leading the assessment of current USPS cyber policies, the coverage of those policies, and areas of risks. They will evaluate how policies stack up to regulations, best practices, and industry standards. They will guide the Postal Service through understanding acceptable risk and availability, and they will advance the development of a strategic cyber roadmap to include Artificial Intelligence (AI), Cloud, Zero Trust, and other critical areas. They will work to ensure the Postal Service operates securely as we navigate an evolving IT environment. What you'll need to succeed: Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity or other related fields. Or equivalent work experience. NOTE: If resources do not have a relevant college degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required. Required Experience: 3+ years' experience with Cyber Security Business Relationships The candidate must have experience in cyber documentation and designing cyber presentations to be shared across the client with the goal of translating highly technical content, such as cybersecurity architecture proposals and emerging area overviews (like Artificial Intelligence) for a non-technical audience. The candidate must also have experience in creating and executing internal communications plans and project plans for sensitive client-wide solutions, and conducting ongoing internal user testing, user support, and maintenance of solutions. The candidate must possess knowledge of project management and Enterprise Security Architecture leadership for client specific CIS Security Controls, internal assessments, and operation of a business continuity solution involving key personnel. The candidate must also possess knowledge of writing Statements of Work (SOWs), Statements of Objectives (SOOs), Purchase Plans, Funding Requests, and requirements gathering for contracts. The candidate must have the ability to conduct internal client assessments across the enterprise on maturity according to Security Controls. Security Clearance Level: Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance and successfully pass a thorough Government background screening process requiring the completion of detailed forms and fingerprinting This position has a U.S. residency requirement. The USPS security clearance process requires the selected candidate to have resided in the U.S. (including U.S. Territories) for the last five years as follows: U.S. Citizens cannot have left the U.S. (including U.S. Territories) for longer than 6 months consecutively in the last 3 years (unless they meet certain exceptions). Non-U.S. Citizens cannot have left the U.S. (including U.S. Territories) for longer than 90 days consecutively in the last 3 years. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
