Financial Analyst

The Financial Analyst will support the operational needs, analysis and administration of the Individual Life & Financial Services (ILFS) incentive compensation plans. This role administers and calculates the compensation payouts, creates performance reporting and analysis, and functions as the primary contact to the sales colleagues on commission inquiries. This Analyst will be proactive in building relationships with internal sales colleagues, sales management and corporate customers, providing assistance as required. What you will do: Work with finance/sales business partners to create plans and manage all incentive compensation plans. Create, validate and audit monthly reports to ensure accuracy and completeness of commissions crediting and payout results. Calculate complex commission payments for sales personnel based on sales compensation contracts. Ensure all monthly commission payments are timely and accurate. Troubleshoot and resolve calculation and/or data errors. Respond to compensation related inquiries from the sales team in an effective and timely manner. Manage accruals and advise of budgets Assist with the rollout of compensation plans and new processes tied to the measurement of the compensation plan and goals Develop written process documents needed to effectively manage compensation-related processes What you will need: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, or related field. 3+ years in the fields of Finance, IT or Accounting Functions may include IT/Data Management, Financial Analysis, Compensation Ability to build strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders Ability to solve complex problems and cross-functionally collaborate in achieving enterprise goals Proven experience articulating complex data to both a technical & non-technical audience. Or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background Salary Band: 05B This selected candidate will be expected to work hybrid in Indianapolis, IN. The candidate will also be expected to physically return to the office in CA, IN or ME as business needs dictate or for team-building and collaboration.
