Essential Functions: Completes gift/non-gift/pledge entry Prepares, prints, and mails acknowledgement letters Manages paper and electronic filing systems With the Advancement Database Manager, develops and implements policies and procedures for all Blackbaud processes Assists with phone coverage Distributes mail Monitors and responds to emails received in the finance@brockport.edu account Maintains scheduling and event calendars Non-Essential Functions: Stays current in college wide Payment Card Industry initiatives Completes monthly Payment Card Industry-Data Security Standards (PCI-DSS) logbook Maintains filing systems Assists with the database conversion from Banner to Raiser's Edge Prepares purchase requisitions and checks disbursement forms Assists with the supervision of work-study students Minimum Qualifications
Requirements: NON-COMPETITIVE MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (NY HELPS): One year of clerical experience. COMPETITIVE MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (NON-NY HELPS): Candidates must have permanent appointment in an Office Assistant 2 NY State classified position or be reachable for appointment on the current NY State Civil Service eligible list for Office Assistant 2 Full-Time, Brockport location. Preferred Qualifications: Excellent attention to detail Knowledge of Banner Information System or Blackbaud Raiser's Edge Proficient with MS Office Proven ability to be professional and courteous Work well under pressure Can multi-task efficiently Has experience and excels in culturally diverse settings Application Instructions
