We are seeking a graphic designer with proactive skills to assist with social design projects as well as much larger campaign projects for our growing social team.
As a graphic designer, you will play an important role in assisting our social team with the creation of compelling marketing materials. You will be interacting with cross-Microsoft groups to ensure alignment and timely high-quality delivery of quick turn assets.
This role will contribute to planning, creating, illustrating, refining, & delivering social material assets. The following provides details and scope of the project requirements:
Details • Create high resolution marketing/social assets based on input from Art Director, and Creative Director. • Brainstorm new ideas daily to match concepts and creative direction.
Candidate Responsibilities • Work closely with the Social Producers & Creative Lead to assist with the production of social asset creation for video, print concept, marketing campaign, & internal social communication assets. • Take initial direction from Social Director, Social Strategist, Motion Designer & Producer for all design tasks & project reviews. • Complete projects with little guidance after initial direction via organizational & time management skills. • Contribute to the creative process by proactively involving yourself with all aspects of social asset development from brainstorming, concept expansion, sketching ideas, storyboarding, draft assets, review, & delivery of final print ready assets. • Other duties as assigned.
Candidate Requirements • 4 years creative experience designing and editing social assets or related industry experiences. • Heavy focus on ideation and brainstorming with great executional design skills. • Outstanding type and layout skills are essential for success in this position including in-built attention to details such as balance, kerning, visual hierarchy, and color sensibilities. • Ability to design in Adobe Creative Cloud applications such as PowerPoint, Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop. • Detailed oriented design skills with clear, concise, and specific follow through on all action items resulting from meetings and/or directions from the studio producers, creative directors, and art directors. • Having your own ideas & perspectives is a must & must be well versed in taken direction well. • Being able to demonstrate the ability to quickly come up to speed with new social projects is an absolute must with the ability to not get flustered with short notice project completion requests. • The ability to balance multiple projects with short deadlines is a must. Therefore, strong interpersonal communication and cross-team collaboration skills with the proven ability to work with, & build win-win relationships with, creative teams (e.g. graphic and video production artists), technical people (e.g. developers), & Producers alike. When conflicts occur, you provide quick examples to support questions without delaying project timelines. • A high level of enthusiasm, ingenuity, self-motivation, resourcefulness, & drive for results in a fast-paced competitive space. Must have a positive and team-oriented attitude as we all contribute to the quality of our work.
