Nurse Intern
The Nurse Intern performs the following basic nursing procedures under the direct supervision of the registered nurse. Must maintain the flexibility necessary for rapidly changing assignments. Performs the functions of a Nurse Intern in carrying out all assignments given by the registered nurse with a minimum of continuous supervision. Is accountable to the nurses for all patient care he/she gives during a shift. Is responsible for adhering to all standards of nursing care and for promoting teamwork among co-workers. Estimated pay range for this position is $23.50 / hour depending on shift as applicable. The Nurse Intern must have: High School or GED Basic Life Support Actively enrolled in a nursing program (ADN or BSN), successful completion of medical surgical nursing course and clinical; Upon graduation of nursing program, must successfully pass the NCLEX within 90 days. Maximum length of time in role is 15 months. Minimum required experience: successful completion of medical surgical nursing course and clinical. Currently enrolled in a nursing program, in good standing, completed at least one clinical medical surgical rotation, and within 15 months of completing a nursing degree program (BSN or ADN). Required Qualifications: HS High School or GED. BLS Basic Life Support. EOE, including disability/vets.
