Senior Community Health Nursing Supervisor

Responsible for all supervisory duties and planning, organizing and directing the functions of the School Health clinic licensed and unlicensed staff. Functions as resource for staff on School Health policies and procedures. Responsible for programmatic evaluation and implementation of School Health policies and procedures. Responsible for reviewing case records and performing school clinic inspections for accuracy and compliance with state mandates. Responsible for collection of data and statistics for timely submission of all state required reports. Works collaboratively with the local School District liaisons and employees to oversee the operation of all school clinics. Collaborates with Nursing Program Specialists in development of Individual Education Plan, (IEP) care plans and review of additional health care plans. Current CPR and First Aid. Knowledge of School Health policies and procedures. Knowledge of Pediatric Nursing. Knowledge of supervision and leadership skills. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to use deductive and inductive reasoning to problem solve. Ability to function independently. Minimum: Current Florida or multi state Registered Nurse license. Valid Florida Driver's License. Two years supervisory experience. One year experience with managing budgets. One year school health nursing experience. One year pediatric nursing experience. Preferred: Bachelor's degree or higher in a health related field. Three years Nursing experience. Two years Pediatric nursing experience.
