Lead Recruiter

Aalo Atomics is accelerating the commercialization of advanced nuclear-energy systems. We are seeking a Lead Recruiter to build and run our recruiting engine end-to-end. You will design processes, partner with hiring managers across engineering, manufacturing, and corporate functions, and personally drive full-cycle recruiting for a rapidly expanding headcountall while safeguarding an outstanding candidate experience and strict compliance with U.S. employment law. Strategy & Process

Establish scalable recruiting workflows, interview loops, and performance metrics within Rippling ATS. Collaborate with leadership on workforce planning and prioritization to meet aggressive product and operational milestones. Maintain compliant, consistent hiring practices aligned with federal and state employment regulations. Full-Cycle Recruiting

Own sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer creation, and closing for technical and business roles. Implement diversified sourcing tactics (direct outreach, referral programs, selective events, university relations) to reach passive and active talent. Provide clear, timely communication to candidates and hiring teams to uphold a best-in-class experience. Data-Driven Continuous Improvement

Track funnel metrics (time-to-hire, pass-through rates, quality-of-hire) and distill insights that inform process refinements. Partner with finance to monitor recruiting spend and optimize cost-per-hire. Champion equal-opportunity, legally compliant hiring decisions. Qualifications

Required

5+ years full-cycle recruiting experience, including 3+ years hiring hard-to-find engineering or scientific talent. Demonstrated success scaling recruiting programs in a high-growth, deep-tech or hardware-focused startup. Proficiency with Rippling (or comparable ATS) and evidence of data-driven decision-making. Solid working knowledge of U.S. employment law and equal-opportunity regulations. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; able to influence technical leaders and close candidates. Preferred

Experience hiring for regulated industries such as nuclear, aerospace, robotics, medical devices, or semiconductors. Proven ability to stand up recruiting infrastructure from scratch (processes, interview training, metrics dashboards). Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, engineering, or a related field.
