Ideal for swimming, boating and fishing Beautiful agriculture and farmland Sebring is known for motorsports and home to the famous Sebring International Raceway Nature and hiking trails The role you'll contribute: Under the general direction of the Admitting Coordinator, performs pre-registry, insurance verification, registry, per-certification, in-house follow-up and discharge for patients to the Texas Health Huguley in a pleasant and accurate manner. Handles payments and valuables from patients, and acts as a cashier for the organization. The value you'll bring to the team: Responsible for the clerical duties for the Admitting and Registration of patients. Uses professional discretion to ensure confidentiality of information concerning employees, patients and the hospital, as outlined in hospital policies. Protects the legal and financial standing of the hospital by obtaining appropriate signatures on consent to treat forms and required assignment of benefits forms, adhering to written policies and procedures. Each patient service representative is cross-trained in admitting/emergency room for assistance in those areas, if needed. Assigns diagnosis codes on accounts based on physician orders, i.e., In-Patients, Out-Patients, Short-Term Care, Physical Therapy, Cardiac Rehabs, etc. Qualifications: The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed: High school diploma or equivalent required.
