Applications Development Tech Lead Analyst
Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Tech Lead Analyst for its Tampa, Florida location. Duties: Conduct applications design, development, testing, modification and implementation processes for bank's Global Liquidity Reporting System. Verify stability, interoperability, portability, security, or scalability of system architecture. Ensure appropriate functions are integrated in system to meet intended business goals. Act as the subject matter expert imparting technical knowledge to L2 Support teams and Development staff on GLRS Daily processing procedures. Prepare application design documents and mappings from source to target, and ensure design adheres to architecture blueprint and internal standards. Resolve high impact problems such as Production outages, Defect resolution and code patching, software upgrades. Perform analysis of business process, systems process, and industry standards. Define operating standards and implement them into system processes. Develop best practices standards for coding, testing, debugging and implementation to minimize risk and improve performance. Conduct root cause analysis to define technical issues and provide solutions. Debug PL/SQL code, ETL Ab Initio, Unix, Linux and Java/J2EE code for process failures. Use Big Data, Hadoop and Hive to retrieve and archive data into storage. Create and setup new automated jobs of existing applications using AbInitio Control Center and Autosys. Estimate required development efforts, create project plan, allocate work to team members, and track progress status until completion of project. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols. Requirements: Requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or closely related field and 6 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as a Technology Analyst, Software Engineer, Computer Systems Analyst, Architect or related position involving ETL development with J2EE, AbInitio and Oracle. 6 years of experience must include: Utilizing UNIX and Linux; Utilizing scheduling tools, including Autosys, AbInitio, and CA-7; Utilizing ETL tools, including Ab Initio, Express>It; Accessing databases, including DB2; Programming in Oracle SQL/PL-SQL; and Data modeling in Oracle SQL Developer.
