The Division of Rheumatology and Clinical Immunology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) is seeking a dedicated, collaborative rheumatologist with superb clinical acumen to join our team as a full-time physician. This position offers a dynamic opportunity to provide specialized, interdisciplinary care to patients with Sjgren's Disease at the UPMC Sjgren's Disease Center. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in participating in Sjgren's clinical trials to advance both patient care and research. Experience in musculoskeletal and salivary gland ultrasound would be a highly advantageous asset. Cover general rheumatology clinics and provide inpatient care in the UPMC system at Pittsburgh-based hospitals. 4-day work week Dedicated clinics at the University of Pittsburgh Sjgren's Disease Center Minimum of 12 inpatient weeks and 12 inpatient weekends per year Provide quality rheumatology instruction and training in the inpatient/outpatient settings to medical students, residents, fellows, and other healthcare professionals Interact with their academic and basic science colleagues in the Division of Rheumatology and the Department of Medicine as part of their employment; this includes but is not limited to attending division and departmental faculty meetings, serving on committees; working to solve/address quality concerns and attending grand rounds What We Offer Competitive base salary plus RVU productivity incentive Health, life and disability insurance Medical malpractice insurance, professional dues Defined contribution plan; 403b plan with employer matched contributions Relocation allowance CME allowance of $3,000 plus one week CME conference time Five weeks PTO About UPMC UPMC Rheumatology is ranked #13 in the nation by U.S. News & World Report.
