Laborer
We are looking for a dedicated Laborer to join our team. This role involves assisting the machine operator or production team in various tasks, including maintenance, clean-up, yard work, warehouse duties, production, utilities, and material handling. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean work area, using security gear, following safety regulations, and reporting unsafe conditions or defective equipment. Responsibilities
Assist designated machine operator or production team in various functions. Handle assignments in a repetitive or sequential order for completing tasks assigned. Maintain a clean work area. Use security gear at all times and follow all safety regulations. Report any unsafe conditions or defective equipment to the supervisor immediately. Clean up machinery and conveyors, maintain the surrounding area, and keep equipment free from debris during downtime. Transport trash and debris away from production areas. Keep pallets neat and orderly. Operate machinery or equipment as trained and instructed, following safety guidelines at all times. Assist the lead operator in preparing for shift production. Work closely with the lead operator and become knowledgeable about the mechanics and operation of the machines in which you assist. Operate a variety of hand tools. Assist in the loading and unloading of trucks. Assist in completing shipping and receiving documents. Package and label products properly. Handle stockpiles. Verify loads leaving the premises. Maintain, verify, and count product inventory. Perform other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job as needed. Essential Skills
Ability to read and use a tape measure. Familiarity with blueprints. Capability to lift up to 50 lbs. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in concrete, labor, construction, precast, production, assembly, steel forms, and rebar. Ideal candidates have industrial experience, especially in concrete or precast. Experience with companies such as Pavestone, Shea Precast, CSI - Concrete Systems INC, and Jolly Precast is beneficial. Why Work Here?
