Bookkeeper Level 2

The NYPD Traffic Enforcement District Administration is a specialized unit within the New York City Police Department's Bureau of Transportation. It plays a crucial role in maintaining traffic flow, enforcing parking regulations, and ensuring road safety throughout the five boroughs. The NYPD is seeking a qualified Bookkeeper Level 2 to support the administrative operations of the Traffic Enforcement District Administration. Their duties handle a range of financial and administrative tasks related to payroll and other financial matters. Bookkeepers may be involved in tasks such as calculating differential pay for, processing repayments, and handling leave conversions. A key responsibility is processing payroll for personnel. In addition to payroll, bookkeepers may perform various administrative and accounting duties, such as data entry, research, and correspondence. Work Location: 164 W 36th Street, 4th Fl., New York, NY 10018 Hours/Shift: MON-FRI 0800X1600 Additional Information: In compliance with Federal Law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire.
