This role plays a critical part in maintaining operational uptime, ensuring guest safety, and managing new attraction development while driving cost-effective purchasing strategies. Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Oversee the planning, design, and implementation of new attractions projects including rides, vehicles, aquatics and other attractions across the company's portfolio of entertainment venues. Active construction oversight during product installations periods, while partnering with other company construction managers in the coordination of supplemental infrastructure as required for a complete and proper package. Responsible for managing compliance and regulatory documentation to ensure all rides meet safety standards and operate in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations. Collaborate with park maintenance and operations teams to develop comprehensive purchasing strategies for all ride and attraction-related assets while forecasting related inventory needs, equipment downtime, and repair cycles. Assist with negotiations of ongoing vendor contracts, warranties, and service-level agreements with ride manufacturers and contractors, ensuring favorable pricing, quality standards, and regulatory compliance. Monitor market trends in amusement ride technology, waterpark innovations, and safety compliance to inform future procurement planning. Maintain comprehensive documentation for project activity, including vendor records, warranty data, inspection logs, and regulatory certifications. Ensure all attraction purchases comply with local, state, and national codes (including ASTM F24, ADA, and OSHA requirements), and meet internal safety standards. Supervisory responsibilities may include overseeing a small support team including buyers, procurement coordinators, or project engineers focused on pipeline development, vendor management, communications, and purchasing logistics. Qualifications: A technically minded, detail-oriented project leader with experience managing attractions across waterparks and FECs. Must be skilled at vendor negotiation, cross-functional collaboration, and balancing project cost control with high standards of guest safety and experience. Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred or equivalent work experience. Minimum 5-7 years of related industry experience, preferably in the amusements or entertainment. Proven experience managing water-based attractions and hard rides (e.g., go-karts, spinners, family rides, or mechanical amusements). Working knowledge of ASTM, ADA, and other relevant amusement safety and compliance standards. Strong contract negotiation and vendor relationship management skills. Experience using ERP and procurement software systems preferred. Work environment/physical demands: This position includes a combination of office-based project and procurement management and hands-on engagement at operational sites. Site visits may include waterparks, dry ride zones, and mechanical maintenance areas. Travel to vendor facilities and Lucky Strike properties is required. Must be comfortable with exposure to outdoor environments, variable weather conditions, and live attraction areas. Seasonal demands may require extended hours during installation or peak periods.
