Sr. Functional Architect
As a Sr. Functional Architect, you will make an impact by designing and implementing robust, scalable solutions that integrate AWS Cloud and IBM Sterling B2B technologies within the Cards and Payments domain. You will be a valued member of the team, collaborating with stakeholders and cross-functional groups to deliver secure, compliant, and high-performing architectures that align with business objectives. In this role, you will: Design and implement functional architectures aligned with business goals. Integrate AWS Cloud with IBM Sterling B2B for seamless data flow. Analyze business requirements in the Cards & Payments domain to develop innovative and efficient architectural solutions. Monitor system performance and implement improvements to optimize efficiency and reliability. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of architectural designs and system configurations. Review existing architectures to identify improvement opportunities. Work model: We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role's business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Plano, TX. What you need to have to be considered: 1418 years of experience in IT architecture, with a focus on AWS Cloud and IBM Sterling B2B. Proven expertise in the Cards and Payments domain; familiarity with Asset & Wealth Management is a plus. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a track record of innovative solution design. Effective communicator with strong collaboration skills across technical and business teams. Salary and other compensation: Applications will be accepted until 09/20/2025. The annual salary for this position is between $135,000 - $160,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
