Electrician
We are seeking a qualified Electrician to join our team for construction projects based in Savannah, Georgia. This position is responsible for installing electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, ensuring that work is done in accordance with relevant codes. Work involves technical application of electrical principles. This is all to be done using the appropriate equipment and implementing the required safety practices. Responsibilities
Perform rough ins and finals install of conduit and MC Cable. Install electrical panels, lighting fixtures, switches, outlets, and wiring in equipment. Execute start-up and energizing procedures of equipment. Install and maintain fire systems. Focus work in common areas such as Main floor, Basement work areas for employees, hallways, stairwells, restaurant, and rooftop bar. Provide necessary tools for the job including knife, pliers/linemen, screwdrivers, nut drivers, key hole saw, hacksaw, hammer, level (small 12"), channel locks, needle nose pliers, voltage meter/tester, tool pouch/belt for electrical work, diagonal pliers, wrenches, taps (6/32, 8/32, 10/24), wire strippers, socket set, tape measure (at least 25 ft.), side cutters, flashlight, cordless drill/impact drill, wrench set, crescent wrench. Essential Skills
Experience with commercial electrical work, specifically hotels or equivalent. Proficiency in running MC Cable and pulling cable. Skill in installing lighting, panels, switches, outlets, and all other electrical aspects. Understanding of electrical codes. Ability to read blueprints. Use of all necessary electrical tools. Troubleshooting. Conduit bending. Cable repair. Electrical wiring. Switchgear. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Journeyman status or equivalent required. Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical work. Why Work Here?
