Job Title
Inspect, diagnose, and repair heavy construction equipment in the field, including excavators, bulldozers, loaders, graders, and other machinery. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance. Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on-site and carry out necessary repairs or part replacements. Calibrate and adjust equipment systems to meet operational and manufacturer specifications. Accurately document service work, inspections, and repairs performed. Stay current on company safety practices, procedures, and values. Carry out additional duties or emergency repairs as assigned by management. Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience with hand tools, including screwdrivers, wrenches, and pliers, pneumatic tools and diagnostic equipment. Previous field and shop experience working on Caterpillar, John Deere, or similar heavy equipment is highly valued. Solid background in construction equipment repair and maintenance, with a passion for keeping machines running at peak performance. Familiarity with performance testing tools such as compression gauges, ammeters, and voltmeters to accurately assess and troubleshoot engine and system issues. Benefits
