The Boeing Global Services (BGS) and the Product Support Engineering team is seeking an Experienced-Level Technical Data Designer to support our F-18 program in Fort Walton Beach, FL. The successful candidate for this position will develop, analyze, collect, and store various system support technical data elements and specifications to evaluate and make recommendations. Provides recommendations on product supportability and establishes operation maintenance tasks, resources, and support systems to achieve supportability requirements for multiple equipment subsystems. This role identifies, researches, develops and revises technical publications, documentation, and related data. Analyzes customer requirements to understand scope and required elements. Reviewing technical support publications for technical accuracy, grammatical errors, format and style per guidelines. Position Responsibilities: Analyzes complex engineering designs and design changes to determine maintenance/repair requirements, procedures and instructions. Collect, research and evaluate source data to develop Weapons and Munitions component and system technical publications according to specifications. Develop multiple publication elements for all levels of maintenance for fielded equipment minor systems or sub systems. Collaborate with program management, engineering and other weapons authors to accomplish tasks. Participate in or lead in-person and virtual working group meetings. Some travel may be required. May be asked to support other programs or perform other duties as needed.
