Maintenance Planning Coordinator

Location: Leominster, Massachusetts Company: Georgia-Pacific Career Field: Maintenance & Skilled Trades Job Number: 147316 Schedules and reviews planned work orders Plans all maintenance work schedules Coordinates with Production and Operations Manager to ensure prompt completion of work orders with minimal interruption Plans and assigns resources based on maintenance work schedule and capabilities Identifies parts, if needed, and coordinates with storeroom leader Reviews, approves, prioritizes, schedules and closes corrective work orders Modifies existing or develops new preventative and predictive Maintenance tasks Reviews weekly backlog data for assigned area(s) of responsibility and conduct meetings to discuss Communicate forecasted scheduled work with operations and production leaders Communicate outage maintenance projects Meets with electrical, mechanical and production owners for jobs that must be planned Utilizes planning tools to determine parts, materials, rental equipment and/or contractor support necessary for jobs to be performed Coordinates parts/rentals/contractor needs and submits requisitions Develops and updates Bill of Materials (BOM) for equipment Develops Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) containing details to perform job and field validation Contacts and schedules contractor work Ensure contractors are notified of safety training requirements prior to arrival on site Follow up with contractors to ensure they received a Purchase Order, prior to their expected arrival on site, when applicable Review work orders for parts used, prior to work orders being closed Lead and/or participate in improvement opportunities/projects Utilize OSB Asset Maintenance Workflow Process Drive forklift and/or other mobile equipment High School Diploma or GED Minimum of 2 years' experience in a heavy industrial maintenance department Knowledge of sprockets, sheaves, bushings, chains, belts, bearings, cylinders, pumps, motors and gearboxes Experience operating basic computer programs and inputting data At Koch, employees are empowered to do what they do best to make life better.
