Cardiovascular Tech III - Cath Lab
Employment Type: Full time Shift: Day Shift Position Highlights: Quality of Life: Where career opportunities and quality of life converge Advancement: Strong orientation program, generous tuition allowance and career development What you will do: Performs technical procedures for Cardiac Catheterization Lab, including patient preparation, assisting physician, hemodynamic monitoring and first assistant. Accurately completes required documentation for procedures. Work may involve extended periods of time requiring detailed knowledge and attention to critical patient parameters that may require immediate and accurate decision making. Must be able to provide 24 hour On Call Service as first assistant. Requirements: AS in Radiology (ARRT and NYS Radiologic License) or Respiratory Therapy (Register Respiratory Therapist)-or-Formal CVT training program graduate with RCIS-or-Cardiac Sonographer with ARDMS credentials-or-After completing 200 cardiac/vascular procedures a CVT II may sit for benchmark testing with recommendation from Cath Lab medical director and manager. Benchmark test score of 85% will be accepted in place of above education requirements. BLS Certification within 30 days. Successful completion of Basic EKG interpretation within orientation period within 90 days. ACLS certification within 30 days. Pay Range: $35.00 - $50.26 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
