Chief Of Staff To The CEO
The Chief Of Staff To The CEO serves as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to the executive, enabling the leadership team to focus on Eurasia Group's biggest priorities in a fast-paced, global environment. Applicants must have proven experience in managing a high-level executive and associated support team, preferably in both commercial and geopolitical environments. Key elements of the role include coordinating and aligning top priorities across the organization with the CEO, accelerating the execution of critical initiatives, ensuring follow-through on client-facing and growth opportunities where the CEO is engaged, and fostering a positive, inclusive culture that supports innovation and high performance. The right candidate will embrace EG's values and bring a sense of urgency and ownership to their work. Key Responsibilities Directly manage and oversee a team of 5 responsible for supporting the executive's business analytics and administrative priorities Independently oversee special projects that support the CEO's vision, including ownership of planning, coordination, execution, and/or results. Act as a gatekeeper and sounding board, offering insights and anticipating needs. Efficiently triage requests, prioritize the CEO's time, and maintain focus on high-impact activities. Coordinate all external / client-facing activities for the CEO, optimize trip objectives, ensure excellent meeting prep, tracking, and follow-through on all commercial engagements and opportunities Work with the CEO's Executive Assistant to maintain a strategic calendar of corporate milestones, leadership meetings, events, and key company deliverables. Prepare for meetings, track and follow up on action items, and ensure timely implementation of decisions. Shape internal and external communications and presentations for the CEO. Represent the CEO in internal and client meetings as needed, providing concise summaries, insights, and follow-up. Lead and collaborate in a matrix environment, managing and directing activities of others with or without direct line management responsibilities, to drive excellence. Manage strategic and annual planning sessions and recurring executive meetings by setting clear objectives and agendas, tracking key decisions and deliverables, and ensuring alignment, accountability, and successful execution. Communicate key messages and drive critical initiatives with authority and credibility, ensuring buy-in from stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in management, business, international relations, public policy, or related field strongly preferred. At least 710 years of relevant professional experience, with a proven record of supporting C-suite executives or senior leaders, preferably in a global organization. Exceptional organizational abilities, including managing a complex strategic calendar of company milestones, meetings, and key deliverables. Demonstrated ability to independently run special projects that align with senior leadership's vision, including coordination, planning, and delivery. Effective stakeholder mapping skills with an eye toward process creation to manage relationships in alignment with executive's vision and company growth priorities Superior written and verbal communication skills; adept at drafting internal and external communications, presentations, and detailed reports for executive audiences. Adept at filtering incoming requests, prioritizing a CEO's time, and serving as both a gatekeeper and thought partner. High degree of discretion, integrity, adaptability, and professional maturity; comfortable operating with sensitivity and confidentiality at the highest level of the organization. The applicable base salary range for this role is $120,000 to $135,000. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
