We are seeking a Temporary Events Manager to provide coverage during a maternity leave. In this role, you will oversee the planning, execution, and performance of ISMG's global events. This includes managing all aspects of event logistics, vendor coordination, budget tracking, and client communications to ensure each event meets strategic objectives and delivers exceptional attendee experiences. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, a data-driven mindset, and a passion for innovation to drive engagement, operational efficiency, and audience growth. This temporary position plays a key role in maintaining ISMG's high standards across Summits and Custom Event experiences. What You'll Do

Plan and manage event logistics for both in-person and virtual experiences, including venue booking, seating design, menu selection, shipping coordination, and preparation of all event materials. Oversee vendor relationships, sourcing and managing partners for audio/visual, photography, videography, staging/backdrops, and printed materials to meet ISMG's quality standards. Maintain and manage event inventory, ensuring all materials are ordered, tracked, and available as needed. Drive audience development by expanding the global attendee prospect database and fostering strong relationships with existing attendees. Monitor and optimize budgets, managing event-related expenses and revenue while meeting cost-saving and ROI targets. Lead sponsored Executive Boardroom Sessions, from recruitment through execution, ensuring alignment with sponsor objectives. Deliver end-to-end management of global ISMG custom events, ensuring each program aligns with client goals, target audiences, and measurable outcomes. Serve as the primary client liaison, providing proactive communication and ensuring expectations are met throughout the event lifecycle. Measure and report on event success, tracking performance metrics and providing actionable insights and ROI analyses to executive leadership. Stay ahead of industry trends, adopting innovative tools and best practices to continuously elevate ISMG's global event strategy. Qualifications

35 years of professional experience in event planning and execution, preferably in B2B, media, or technology sectors. Proven success managing both in-person and virtual events, including international or large-scale programs. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events and deadlines simultaneously. Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindset. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for vendor management, client liaison, and cross-functional collaboration. Budget management expertise, including tracking, reporting, and achieving ROI or cost-saving targets. Proficiency with event management platforms (e.g., Cvent, Bizzabo), CRM systems, and virtual meeting tools (e.g., Zoom, MS Teams, ON24). Analytical ability to interpret event performance metrics and apply insights to improve outcomes. Flexibility to adapt quickly to shifting priorities and timelines in a fast-paced, global environment Nice to Have: Experience managing sponsored sessions or executive-level roundtables. Familiarity with digital marketing practices and audience acquisition strategies. Willingness to travel internationally, as required by event schedules.
