Maintenance Mechanic Needed In Smyrna, TN
The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for maintaining all industrial equipment, performing preventative and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the continuous operation of converting equipment and lines. This role involves participating in manufacturing process improvement initiatives and implementing technical solutions. Familiarity with precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, dial indicators, and multimeters is required. Responsibilities: Maintain all industrial equipment and perform preventative and predictive maintenance. Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement technical solutions. Ensure converting equipment and lines run continuously. Participate in manufacturing process improvement initiatives. Utilize precision measuring equipment effectively. Essential Skills: Experience with maintenance, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems. At least 1+ years of industrial maintenance experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, and 3-phase motors. Comfortable with changeovers, setups, fillers, pumps, and valves. Troubleshooting, mechanical repair, preventive maintenance, and electrical skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required. Preferred 3+ years of experience in a GMP environment. Computer proficiency in MS Office. Best candidates will have a minimum of 5 years of related manufacturing experience in an FDA facility.
