POSITION SUMMARY Do you have experience driving a snowcat or heavy equipment? Join our Slope Maintenance team in creating a superior snow surface for our guests. Must have a valid driver's license. Groomers will work four 10-hour shifts either a swing shift of the grave (overnight) shift ESSENTIAL DUTIES Operating grooming equipment to provide an even skiing terrain surface Grooming of the mountain ski slopes with dozer, tiller and tracked equipment Minimal tool use Inspection of equipment Clean equipment Fuel equipment Perform repair orders and computer entry Compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as any regulatory requirements Other duties, as assigned REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Groomer I 2 years of previous work history/education required Must have at least 1 year of experience driving a snowcat and/or heavy equipment Must have mechanical aptitude Adhere to all safety policies Knowledge of the mountain terrain, preferred Interact and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers and management consistent with Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation's Service Excellence standards REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Groomer II 2 years of previous work history/education required Must have at least 2 years of experience driving a snowcat and/or heavy equipment Must have mechanical aptitude Adhere to all safety policies Knowledge of the mountain terrain, preferred Interact and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers and management consistent with Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation's Service Excellence standards REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Groomer III 2 years of previous work history/education required Must have at least 2 years of experience driving a snowcat and/or heavy equipment Must have mechanical aptitude Adhere to all safety policies Knowledge of the mountain terrain, preferred Interact and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers and management consistent with Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation's Service Excellence standards EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS High School Diploma or GED required The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of the Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation's hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include many region-specific benefits. Steamboat Springs area base hourly pay: $20.50 - $25.50 per hour PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Must be minimum 18 years of age Must have excellent hand and eye coordination Must have good night vision and can operate equipment at night Lift approximately 40 lbs. (chain, removing implements) Sit for long periods of time as well as climb in and out of snowcats, cabs Walk on uneven slick conditions in extreme inclement weather conditions Must have a valid driver's license and meet insurability standards Will work four 10-hour shifts either a swing shift or the grave (overnight) shift The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
